GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team continues its nine-game road stint with a three-game Southern Conference (SoCon) series taking on Samford, starting Thursday, April 6th.

UNCG dominated High Point in a non-conference game, winning 13-4.
Dosi Jonas hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh for his eighth of the season.
Kennedy Jones hit a two-run home run in the same inning for his fifth homer of the season.
Seven Spartans had a multi-hit game including, Luke Jenkins swinging 3-for-4 and Dallas Callahan batting 2-for-3.

Scouting the Spartans

GC Jarman is nationally ranked 23rd and leading the conference in sacrifice flies (4).
Budzik is batting .362 (38-for-105) in 27 games played with 23 RBIs, eight doubles, and one triple.
Jonas leads the conference in runs batted in per game (1.45), second in home runs per game (0.36), and third in the conference in slugging percentage (0.750).
Nationally he is 22nd in runs batted in per game, 52nd in slugging percentage, and 62nd in home runs per game.
In 42.2 innings pitched, Jake Wolf has a 3.59 ERA with 21 strikeouts and just 24 runs allowed. He is 1-2 on the mount with one save.
Jonas leads the Spartans with eight home runs, while Jones has hit five. Caleb Cozart has hit four. Rowan Watt, Mitchell Smith, and Callahan each have hit three home runs, while Zack Budzik has two home runs and Daniel Cerda and Bradley Bott each have one.

Scouting Samford
