Greensboro finishes the season at William Peace

Raleigh, NC – On Saturday evening, the Greensboro College Women’s Lacrosse team traveled east to face William Peace University, in their final game of the regular season. The Pride were looking to continue the scoring success they had from their previous game, but unfortunately, they were unable to match the Pacers and would fall by a final score of 14-2.

Freshman Carly Walton (Tulsa, OK) had eight saves
Sophomore Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce (Winston-Salem, NC) scored 2 goals, had 5 groundballs and 4 caused turnovers
Junior Aniyah Quinlan (Browns Summit, NC) picked up 3 ground balls and caused a turnover
Junior Emily Gearhart (Port Huron, MI) had an assist
As a team, Greensboro had 12 shots on goal, 19 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers

The Pride finish their season and will use the off-season to get ready for next year.
