GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team hosts in-state and non-conference rivals Charlotte 49ers for a Tuesday evening game at UNCG Softball Stadium.

The Spartans enter the contest 31-19 overall, while Charlotte is 29-18 overall.

LAST TIME OUT

UNCG went 2-1 against SoCon foe Mercer in Macon, Georgia this past weekend.
The Spartans won game two, 7-3 in nine innings, and game three, 7-4.
Rhyann Jones pitched her seventh complete game for her 10th win of the season in the extra inning win.
UNCG had its 17th multi-home run game of the season.
Maddie Spell earned the other victory for the Spartans in the circle.
Brooklynn Maxwell led the Spartans with a 6-for-12

Cumbie was named SoCon Player of the Week twice so far this season, while Spell has been voted SoCon Pitcher of the Week twice, and Jones earned SoCon Pitcher of the Week once and Jorde Chartrand was named SoCon Player of the Week most recently.
