The Los Angeles home of Fox Sports personality and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe was burglarized last week, according to TMZ Sports. The police told the outlet that over $1M of jewelry, bags and watches were stolen while he was out of the home at a dinner with friends.

“Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports … the break-in happened back on May 19 between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. — after Sharpe had left his place for a few hours in the early evening,” the report stated. “We’re told when Sharpe returned home after dinner with friends and noticed something was not right … so he called the police.”

Sharpe has offered a $50,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.

The burglary, while incredibly serious and certainly frightening for him and his family, added to an interesting week for the co-host of “Undisputed.”

On Thursday, he went back and forth with former NBA player Kwame Brown after the 2001 top overall pick criticized LeBron James in a seven-minute-long video after the Los Angeles Lakers were swept out of the postseason by the Denver Nuggets. Sharpe, an unabashed fan of James, went after Brown on “Undisputed.”

Brown, unsurprisingly, responded back with personal attacks. As of the timing of this post, Sharpe has yet to respond.
