  1. So contracts mean nothing? I guess he has his reasoning, but this is sad….. especially for the kids.

  2. Didn’t he just get there? WOW, loyalty means nothing at this point!

  3. Here is an interesting comment from Mac McCain(Dudley HS/N.C. A&T/Detroit Lions) from over on Twitter:

    I like SG legend for the job
    @mrhuntt_ !

  4. SG will never recover from Coach Brown leaving. Sad but true. A once great program now in shambles.

    Absolutely ridiculous. Unfair to our kids.

  6. None of the last 3 coaches for SG can say anything to his players about loyalty and sticking it out for obvious reasons!

  7. Lots of good, outstanding student athletes at SG…they deserve so MUCH better!! Hope the AD can find some LOYALTY out there..

  8. Truth be told, gcs doesn’t pay teachers good and surely don’t pay coaches good. These guys have families and have to do what is best fit them. It’s not like the old days when coaches would stay 10 to 20 years and just do it out the love for the game.

  9. ouch searching for a coach in June, cannot be good. i feel for the kids and hope they can get it worked out soon.
