Henry Guan is back in a familiar spot

Greensboro, NC – Henry Guan of Dallas, Texas, took control of the third round and leads by one at the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey at 4-under-par 206.
Guan fired a 6-under-par 64 in the third round. The 2026 grad jumped up 11 spots on the leaderboard.
The 22nd annual Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey returned to the historic Sedgefield Country Club. The 72-player field consisting of boys ages 12-19 features 28 college commits, 41 players ranked in the top-100 of the Rolex AJGA Rankings, and 10 Rolex Junior All-Americans.
The field hails from seven different countries, 19 different states and currently has five boys at even-par or better following the third round.
Guan had an electric start to his round. The Dallas native holed out for eagle on the par-4 No. 1 and birdied the par-4 No. 2 to quickly get to 3 under-par for the day. He went on to make two more birdies on the front nine and made the turn with a 5 under-par 30. Guan quickly made back-to-back birdies on Nos. 10 and 11 before making his first bogey of the day on the par-4 No. 14. He followed it up with a birdie on the par-5 No. 15 but finished with a bogey on the difficult par-4 No. 18. Guan’s round of 6 under-par 64 is his personal best at Sedgefield.
I hit my irons really well and made a couple of putts today. This is a course that you have to play really smart. The eagle on one was a huge momentum shift and going from 12th place to the lead is great.

William Jennings of Greenville, South Carolina, shot a 2-under-par 68 to snag solo second.
The University of Alabama commit had an eventful round of five bogies and seven birdies. The first round co-leader is only one-shot back of Guan at 3 under-par 207.
Michael Riebe of Encinitas, California, is in third place after an even-par 70.
All three players will be battling for a first place finish tomorrow during the final round of the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey. Final round tee times start at 8:00 a.m. off of Nos. 1 and 10 at Sedgefield Country Club.
