Seeing the people along the way: “On the Morning Run”

It was a very good Morning Run this morning, so I thought I would post a few notes about it…Got in the Long Run, going for right at 6.5 miles and got it done in under an hour, so I would call all of that movement productive…

Saw several good sights and people along the way, including Tow Truck Jess, the kid who used to shoot and play basketball with us, down at the Forest Valley outdoor basketball court…She is now a Tik-Tok sensation, and you can check her out there and see what the kid is up to…She was driving the two truck this morning, so I guess things are towing good…Hit her up on Tik-Tok, she has some interesting takes…

And sometimes, you have to take one for the home team….I saw the Greensboro Five of Greensboro this morning, over near the Friendly Shopping Center…That was a family of Five Geese, with mom and dad, and three little geese and they were crossing the street up near the Harris Teeter of the Friendly Center…You have to slow down for the Geese Crossing, and let them get across the road/street..

Good thing another group I saw before I reached the Friendly Center area was not up there, when the Geese crossed the street…And that is the Goose Masters team…They live in a neighborhood I run through, along the way, on the Morning Run, and their job is get rid of the Geese…And they do it safely, with Border Collies…I guess the Border Collies are always on the run, because I have never seen them….

The Greensboro Five; a gathering of Geese, the Goose Masters, who might just cook your goose, and Two Truck Jess, all out there on the Morning Run….

Learned today, from the Morning Run, that this was a good day to sweat…And the sweating is good, and I must have been doing real good this morning, because the sweat was pouring out of my pores…And I read in the doctor’s office yesterday, as I was there taking my brother to the doctor, that “Sweat is Good”…Always knew that “Sweat is Good”, and it cleans out the body’s pores, and it works as a cooling system for your body, when your body heats up….So if you are Sweating, all is real good…

And all was good today, on The Morning Run….

Here are two songs that helped get us home this morning….

The Long Run:

The Part Where You Come In:

On a side note, I ran into former Southeast Guilford defensive back/wide receiver Tre Caldwell back on Tuesday, over at Wesley Long Hospital…

The former APP State football player is working at the hospital, as he prepares to enter Grad School for three more years of study, in the field of physical therapy…

Good to see Tre and he remembered the old days when GreensboroSports.com was covering the Southeast Guilford Falcons in their quest for the NCHSAA 3-A Football Title…Good to see this young man is going for the max in his education…

Plus, his younger brother Nick Caldwell will be a freshman football player this upcoming Fall, for the East Carolina Pirates…Nick Caldwell coming out of Grimsley High School…Tre Caldwell was also an outstanding track man at Southeast Guilford HS, back in his day….
