We saw what our teams all did in Week One, and now Week Two is upon us, and Week Two is the season-changer….How do the teams that lost in Week One regroup and show they are still going to be in the hunt for for the 2023 season??? For the teams that won, how do they build upon what they established in the first week of the season???
As for Week One, it is done, and to have some fun, let’s go back and Rewind what we saw from last night’s game coverage….
I did not see much at all, because I was working on my computer, with the High School Football highlight shows on in the background….
But I would have to say FOX 8 finishes in First Place for their coverage of last night’s games….They were the first crew on the air…They came on with the FOX 8 Frenzy at 11pm….Kevin Connolly, Danny Harnden, and Clara Goodwin…Very solid coverage with what seemed to be a full half-hour show, from 11pm until 11:30pm…

At the #2 spot, I would put WFMY News 2…In order of shows, they came in at #2, and they come later than the FOX 8 Frenzy, with the News 2 Sports hitting around 11:20pm….Channel 2 has the name with viewers that resonates all over the Triad, because when people say “Friday Football Fever”, you know what they are talking about…Had them on in the background, while I was working, and I think they had Amanda Ferguson, Jaylen Gilkey, and Chad Silber hosting and hoisting their show…WFMY TV 2 has Brian Hall, one of the top sports photojournalist in the state of North Carolina, and FOX 8’s Timmy Hawks is right there with him…Those two men do a super job of telling the football stories and all of the sports stories across our area….

And for full Disclosure, and that does not mean I was missing any of my clothes, it means the full deal from last night is, THAT IS ALL I SAW, YALL….FOX 8 Frenzy and Friday Football Fever, and then I had to leave her at that…That was it for me…Did not see the WXII High School Football Playbook with John Johnson, and no Lauren Walsh this season, since she has moved on to Tennessee, and she is covering the Tennessee Titans these days…

No Spectrum News Football Show for me, although their cameraman did try and swipe my roster over at Dudley, but I talked him into just making a photo of it, and he said that would work for him…Everyone was coming by and wanting my rosters last night….Got mine from Coach Rob, over at Page, and from Coach Denorris Best, at Dudley, and thanks to them…..Another Full Disclosure, I do not have cable TV, never have had it…Not enough time around, to sit around and watch…Why would you want Cable TV, when you have Hardcore Pawn on Quest TV, and when you have the Pawn Stars Show on DeFy Television…No brainer there….
No News and Record for me last night…Did not even look that way….Too busy on my part I guess…Always checked in when Joe Sirera was there, and will check in some time with THE new man, who is doing a very good job, Bryant Roche…Here it is, Saturday morning at 10:27am, and I have not looked at the N&R yet…Shows my new motto of worrying more about mine own stuff/junk and not worrying about what the other guy is doing, is paying off….So Far…
No High School OT for me in Week One of 2023….Need to swing by there some time…I did take a quick peek at the Football Forum over at NCPreps.com last night…Nothing earth-shattering there….That is about it, and if we are missing a pulse that we need to check up on, let us know….
