courtesy of Michael Fanning reporting on Grimsley Football for GreensboroSports.com:

Grimsley and Rolesville combined to score 97 total points on what turned out to be a track-meet in Grimsleys home opener. Three quick takeaways, here we go:

The Whilie offense scores touchdowns on 9 of 11 drives. Besides a red zone interception and the final kneel down, Grimsley scored a touchdown on every other position.

The legs of Grimsley quarterback Faizon Brandon kept the Rams defense off-balance and on their heels. Brandon ran for a TD and threw for a TD.

The Grimsley offensive line outplayed a stout Rams defensive line. Any chance to disrupt or distract the Whilie quarterback was taken away all night by the big boys in blue. Grimsley scores 7 rushing touchdowns.

  1. We debate and criticize sometimes nothing personal but OC opened it up more and dominated. Linebackers and safeties need some work great job. Just blow everyone out in conference.Summers and Brandon wow great game young men. Can’t wait for NW.
