NEG is having for them, what has to be considered a breakout year…Looking for win #6 on the road tonight, at Atkins, the NEG Rams are in a position where they have a legitimate shot at the playoffs…Very impressive turnaround going on at NEG, with their leader and head coach Mark Raynor…

Eastern Guilford(6-1) at Southern Guilford(0-7) 7pm
EG Wildcats are for real, they are now Real Good…The ‘Cats with QB Jackson Jones at the helm, are one of the top two teams in the Mid-State 3-A Conference, and have a Conference Player of the Year Candidate in Steven Murray…Tavion Bullock and Samari Smith are tearing the houses down on Defense…

Smith(3-4) at High Point Central(0-7) 7pm
The Smith Golden Eagles at (4-4)??? Did you say Ben L. Smith is (4-4)??? Yes, the Golden Eagles are sitting on a Golden Egg if they take care of their business tonight at HP Central…Big game/Very Large Game for both of these teams…Smith is making strides under their first-year head coach Montis Lash…A win tonight would put the Boys from the Southside back in rare air…

Dudley(7-0) at Rockingham County(5-2) 7pm
Thd DBoyz from The Eastside are headed to the other side of Rockingham County tonight, and there is no reason not to believe that the Dudley Panthers will return home after this game at (8-0)…Dudley QB Andrew/Drew Attmore II has been throwing the football at an 80% completion rate in recent games…Junior Kordell Bartley is another one of those Conference Player of the Year candidates….He and Steven Murray are both just juniors…Bartley, LJ Southern, CJ Neely, Nasir Newkirk, Jerron Blackwell, DJ Parker, Sa’Mad Bell, Latrell Wilson, Kameron Baldwin, Robert McCollum, you name ’em and Dudley has ’em playing at a very high level right now….

Asheville School(3-3) at High Point Christian Academy(7-0) 7pm
The Asheville School looks to be tougher than their (3-3) record shows..Lost to a (8-0) Webb team from Tennessee, and to a team from Greenville, S.C. and that team is (5-2)…Also lost to Christ School(1-6)…HPCA Cougars have not lost to anyone in 2023…Eley at QB and Devore at RB are as good as they come on the private school level…High Point Christian is going to be a contender for a State Championship come playoff time…

Bishop McGuinness(3-4) at Mountain Island Charter(5-2) 7pm
Don’t know these guys to really formulate a strong opinion on this game…Will always pull for the local Bishop Boys….Looking at the two teams schedules and their like opponents, the ledger favors MIC…

WS Reynolds(2-5) at East Forsyth(6-1) 7pm

Ragsdale(1-6) at Northwest Guilford(5-2) 7:30pm
NWG is on that plan that would allow them to Run the Table for the rest of the regular season…The Vikings are trying to play with House Money, and they are home in their house, and they have a nice Hammock hung up out there at around the 10-yard line and you just need to throw the ball to The Hammock, and then turn around and throw the ball to The Cloud(s)….Tanner Ballou knows what to do, to make these NWG dreams come true…Malique Jones and Ryan Debow have the running game revved up for NWG, and with Thomas Orell and Andrew Dover taking over the Defense, Northwest is ready to fly…Ragsdale is rebuilding, and the rebuilding process is a long piece of work, when you have teams like NWG standing in the way of your special blueprint plans…

High Point Andrews(4-3) at North Forsyth(3-5) 7:30pm
HP Andrews still has visions of the 2023 playoffs, and why not??? The Red Raiders will be (5-3) when they complete their work over in Forsyth County tonight….Correy McManus, Corey Pate and others are still very strong and with Coach Mitchell Jenkins leading these young men, they will fight to win, and they should be in position at the end, to win again tonight…

Northern Guilford(3-4/2-2) at Page(3-4/3-1) 7:30pm….We will have this game broadcast for you on GreensboroSports Radio…Pregame at 6:45pm and the Kickoff coming up at 7:30pm…Don Tilley and Nile Harris with us on the broadcast…Akers, Hall, and McInnis for NG at RB…Andrews, Christian Brown, Jones, Poindexter, and even Hinson can all run the ball for Page…Plus Jaxson Kemp, the NG QB is also a very good runner…NG has the edge in the passing game, with Reggie King being one of the best receivers in the conference….Plus there’s Muse, Morrison, and Willoughby for NG at WR…Page relies on the hands of Amonti Peguese the most….Page D might just have the edge with Alex Jones leading the Pirate front…Peele and Peguese at LB are leaders…Jaxon Moore, Chance Crews, Chris Armstrong, and others pace the NG D…Hall of Fame night at Page with Frank Starling, Ken Page, John Newman, Donald Moore Sr., Quisha Floyd, and Landis Cox all set to hit the Hall…All on GreensboroSports Radio…

Western Guilford(1-6) at Southeast Guilford(3-4) 7:30pm
SEG might be ready to make up for some lost time in this game tonight…JV game was close with SEG topping WG, 14-6…Timothy Baker continues to pace the Hornets running game, but SEG has Ian McKinnon and several other key backs that make life miserable for the Falcons opponents…Plus they have the Marsh kid that can take over and run the team at QB….SEG is a big bird waiting to drop a load on somebody, and that somebody might just be the Hornets tonight…Game at Bill Slayton Stadium, and if the old coach was still with us, he might be ready to rumble down the sidelines and stir up the home crowd on this night…
