Dogfight Tonight at Bill Bookout Stadium with NEG Rams and The ROCK in a Super Hard-Fought Game/Grimsley, EG, SWG , and NEG JVs Winners/Friday Night Games with Simmons’ Picks and he says Grimsley over Page by 44 points

In our efforts to bring you the BEST high school football games each week, we hit the goal again tonight…It was a true Dogfight, as the Rockingham County Cougars escaped Bill Bookout Stadium, their 18-13 victory over the Northeast Guilford Rams…
ROCK now(6-3), NEG also at (6-3), with ROCK at (4-2) in the Mid-State 3-A Conference, while NEG sits at (3-3)…

Now that is close, and could it be any tighter or closer???? Well, the Halftime Score tonight was 8-7 in favor of The ROCK…So many twists and turns in this ballgame, and the fans out on Hicone Road, in the Northeast Guilford Community will remember this one for a while…More comnig soon on this, another verified candidate for Game of the Week, the Game of the Month, and the Game of the Year…

Also tonight on the JV slate we had:
Grimsley 36, Page 6
Grimsley(8-0)
Southwest Guilford 30, Ragsdale 0
Eastern Guilford 37, Smith 6
No Dudley-Southern Guilford game, SG with no JV team…
Wednesday night:Northeast Guilford JV 34, Rockingham County 0
More on all of these games coming up…
The ROCK at Northeast Guilford is playing back now at GreensboroSports Radio….
(Where were the TV stations on Thursday night at Bill Bookout Stadium??? Did not see any at The Book…No TV coverage whatsoever, and this was one of the top, if not the Top Game in our area….Maybe not the Biggest Game, but got to say , The Best Game…Where were the TV stations for the NEG-ROCK game?)

Tight/Close Football Games this year on GreensboroSports Radio?????
This year we have had Two Overtime Games, a game that was 1:05 away from OT, another game that was a one-point cliffhanger with a one-point difference with just 1:40 left in the game, and tonight, we have a one point game at the half, and then we are at a five-point difference with around 2:00 left in the game, and Northeast Guilford the team that was down five, the NEG Rams got the ball back at their own 12-yard line with just :54 seconds left in the contest….

NEG had the chance, but a pick by The ROCK put out the Rams’ fire, and we had to settle for that 18-13 squeezer…

More on the way like the NEG first and goal, goal line stand, and that was first and goal from the Rams four-yard line and the NEG Rams got the BIG stop…They got a nice yellow flag on a punt that was blocked, and The ROCK was called for running into the punter….A true Dogfight, a hard-fought game, and it was really Unreal tonight at Bill Bookout Stadium, home of the NEG Rams…

How the scoring went tonight in this Dogfight at Bill Bookout Stadium….
2:54 First Quarter ROCK with a 29-yard TD run by their senior QB Brice Baker…Baker’s two-point conversion pass was good…
ROCK 8, NEG 0

End of First Quarter:ROCK 8, NEG 0

11:55 Second Quarter NEG sees Tre Alexander take off on a 7-yard Touchdown Run…The PAT Kick was good by Xavier Mendoza…
ROCK 8, NEG 7

Halftime:ROCK 8, NEG 7

00:32 left in the Third Quarter Hazael Tzun with a 27-yard Field Goal for The ROCK…ROCK 11, NEG 7

End of Third Quarter:ROCK 11, NEG 7

4:19 Fourth Quarter ROCK with Brice Baker, the Touchdown Maker doing it again, on his 4-yard TD run…TZUN PAT Kick is good…
ROCK 18, NEG 7

2:20 Fourth Quarter NEG has their QB Tristan Tukcer connect with his WR Ashton Timberlake for 29-yard TD pass for the TD…Two-point conversion run fails…
ROCK 18, NEG 13

Final Score:ROCK 18, NEG 13

Offensive Players of the Game for Northeast Guilford were Ashton Timberlake and Jadyn Tate…
Defensive Players of the Game for Northeast Guilford were Bryce Taylor, Kordan Wilson, and Morgan Gardner…

Offensive and Defensvie Player of the Game for Rockingham County was their senior QB Brice Baker….

The goal line defense by NEG on this Thursday night was just outrageous, outstanding, out-of-this-world….Some kind of STOPS….This was your typical Game of the Week, Game of the Month, and the Game of the Year, all rolled into one BIG MOVIE…Northeast Guilford has some of the most respectful people on the planet and those loyal NEG athletes are makings reall tight for those want to come dow, and visit with Jackson Jones, Caleb Creech, Javen Cole and MORE…

The NEG Rams are on their way up….Some kind of Game of the Week, Game of the Month, and Game of the Year, rolled into one…

And will we see another one of those Games of the Week, Games of the Month, Games of the Year, all Rolled Into one….Will these Friday night games produce and be on par, with our Thursday night games???
