See we have the Dudley Panthhers with an 8-point edge going into this game…Dudley wins it by 12 points last week, and this week they should win by 8-10 points, when the Panthers get it primed…..

Now we know Dudley will be condident going into this game, since many have labeled the Panthers as the favorite coming into this contest, but what has Dudley done to really get the attention of many fans, friends, and faithful followers of the Tornadoes from Hickory….

Hickory Football is the second seed entering Friday night’s NCHSAA 3A west regional final against No. 4 seed Dudley High School
but Joe Glass, the coach of the Red Tornadoes, thinks his Hickory team is “definitely the underdog.”

I think the biggest thing is that our kids just have to not lose the game before it starts,” said Glass, who led Eastern Guilford to a 10-3 record in 2018. “If I’m going to be honest with you, that is going to be our biggest challenge; when you see them rolling off the bus and you’ve got these big men that are walking down the hill and have kids with Power Five offers here and Power-Five offers there and things like that.”

Last time Hickory was in this West Regional Championship Game was 1996, and that is the last time the Tornadoes won a State Title in football…The Dudley Panthers have won Five State Titles over that time span…..

Dudley has the attention of the Tornadoes, now it is time for Dudley to show that the Panthers can Produce…Talk on the Panthers is growing, and time for Dudley to get going, and to start showing that all of the talk and hype fit…It will fit, and time to get set to hit, and be lit with a kit, that will Seal the Deal…Time for the Dudley Panthers to Seal the Deal, and prove the Panthers’ appeal is the REAL DEAL…It is Panther Time, we channel in Skip McCall one more time, “It Is Panther Time”…..
