The Bishop McGuinness Villains were invited to the annual Chance Harmon Classic and took on perennial powerhouse Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottsville, VA). Bishop survived a balanced attack from multiple D1 prospects in the first half yet rallied to stage a 4th quarter comeback in a close loss. Junior Nicholas Graves paced the Villains with 11 points and 3 assists. Sharpshooter Alex Waterfield added 10 points with 4 rebounds.
The Villains take their 2nd turn at conference opponent Triad School of Math and Science next Tuesday night.

The Bishop McGuinness Villains traveled to a new conference opponent Piedmont Classical for the first time this season. Scoring 25 points in the first frame, the Villains took the lead and never looked back. Senior John Campbell continued his strong play with a 21 point performance to go along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Junior Aiden Martin provided a huge spark off the bench hitting 3 3-pointers and finishing with 11 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds. Forwards Miller Aho and Cal Barrett added 8 points and 7 points respectively.
Bishop travels to across state lines tomorrow afternoon to take on The Miller School of Albemarle in The Chance Harman Classic.
