MVP from Reidsville was Denaria Blackwell(8pts./several assists and a great floor game) and her coach is Tavia Clemendor
MVP from TMSA was Noelle Bennett
Game Two:Triad Math and Sciene Middle School Bengals boys 51, Reidsville Raiders 38
MVP from TMSA was Jusiah McClees with 18 points…His coach is Coach Brown, a former Dudley Panther basketball player for Bragin Rights founder, Brett Hinson….MVP from Reidsville was deadlocked between RJ Gwynn with 11 pts. Tyson Albright with 10 pts., and Bryson Jenkins with 10 pts…
Game Three:Reidsville Rams JV Boys 57, Ragsdale 40
Reidsville MVPs were Frankie Galloway with 17 pts. and Joran Robinson with 15 pts. Coach Galloway was the man that led the Reidsville Rams….MVP from Ragsdale was Owen Justice, who led the Tigers with 17 pts.
Game Four:Northwest Guilford Vikings JV boys 46, Martinsville Bulldogs 34
NWG MVP was Quinten Leach who pumped in 21 pts. for the Vikings…Leach was very sharp today inside and out for the NWG Vikings…Will Herndon added 10 pts., and Jonah Hinson 8 pts. for the NWG Vikings…
MVPs for Martinsville were Emari Tinsley and Jaquius Farmer…
Game Five:Dudley Panthers JV boys 64, Southwewst Guilford 63
MVP for the Dudley Panthers was Dre Deese who hit a super key free throw late to help seal and get the win for Dudley…Deese with 23 pts for the Dudley Panthers…Dudley also got 17 pts. from Darius Barnett…We talked with the Dudley Panthers head coach Thomas “Ice” Griffis after the game, and he was very pleased with his team’s effort…MVP from Southwest Guilford HS was Savion Brooks, who hit for 22 SWG points…We spoke with his dad, SWG Cowboys leader/head Coach Brooks after the game…
Game Six:Page Pirates JV boys 72, Southern Guilford 34
Page MVP was Jermeiah Borland who had 23 Page points…As noted by the Page Pirates head coach Ejoni, it was a very balanced effort by the Page Pirates…Yeoman, Booke, Poindexter, Grainger, Schwab, Dorsett, and others helping out….
MVP for the Southern Guilford Storm was Tyson Cole with 17 big SG Storm points….
Game Seven:Smith Golden Eagles JV boys 45, Grimsley 44
Smith MVP and this kid will get an arguement going for him for Weekend MVP, and we are talking about Smith’s Kenny Faison….Smith down one, 44-43 with 10 seconds left in the game, and Faison gets fouled and he nails two free throws, to put Smith on top to stay, 45-44…Smith holds off the last second Grimsley shots, and Smith gets the victory, with Faison knocking down 18 points for the Smith Golden Eagles, but those two free throws he hit to give Smith the lead, gave them the win…Pressure-filled late-game moments, and Smith, led by Kenny Faison, was able to pull out the victory over a very tough Grimsley team(9-2)…..Smith also received game-winning efforts from their backcourt members Jordan Suggs, Aaden Aggison, and Jordan Partee..Plus up front, Momamed N’Diaye, Tayon Lacewell, and upstart Jayden Watlington were making it work for the Smith Golden Eagles in the lane area/post…Grimsley MVPs were Cameron Arnold with 16 pts. and Sherrod White with 15 pts. Those two guys were the Whirlie wheels that got Grimsley rolling…End of First Quarter:Grimsley 14, Smith 8…Halftime:Grimsley 23, Smith 19…End of Third Quarter:Grimsley 32, Smith 28….Final:Smith 45, Grimsley 44…
Smith Golden Eagles head coach Lamarvis Mitchell was feeling marvelous after the Smith win, and he credited the Grimsley Whirlies for making his young men work their tails off, to earn this big victory…
Great event there at the Bob McAdoo Gynasium, on the Smith High School campus, and we see this annual event getting bigger, bigger, and better, as we head on toward next year’s MLK Weekend get-together(2025), from Bragin Rights…That last game was some way to send everybody off after a super Weekend Basketball Celebration from Bragin Rights and GreensboroSports.com/GreensboroSports Radio…..

Kiser MVP scoring-wise was Davin Duenas with 11 points…Ty Shumate and Braylen Hill both also played hard and well for the Kiser Tigers…MVP for the Gate City Gaters was Israel Seabrooks, and had 14 points, to lead all scorers in the game…
Game Two:Hairston girls 30, Chatham Charter 13
MVP for the Hairston girls was Madison Calvin with 21 big points for Hairston Jaguars….MVP for Chatham Charter was Peyton York…York with 6 points and the team leader for Chatham Charter….Coach Arrington from Hairston, feels like Calvin might be the next Big Thing on the Girls Basketball Map in Greensboro….
