Student/Athletes from Caldwell Academy and their College Career Updates

Student/Athletes from Caldwell Academy are continuing their
collegiate career at the following colleges or universities.

Noah & John Ramos(’23) FR, are on the swim team at Washington & Lee,
(DIV 111) located in Lexington, Va. They competed in the ODAC
Swimming Championship February7-10, at the GAC in Greensboro,NC.
For each meet the coach can select a certain number of swimmers that are
on the scoring team. Noah & John where not selected but did participate
in the following Prelims and based on there times, had they been selected they would have earned points of W&L in the finals..
Noah, had a time of 54:04 in the 100 YD FLY which was good enough
for 9th place out of 40 swimmers.
John swam in the 50YD FREE with a time of 21:85 which was good enough for 14th place out of 64 swimmers. He also swam in the
100 YD FREE with a time of 1:00.22 good enough for 13th place out
40 swimmers.

Kayla Walsh, (’23) FR at Auburn , participated in the Auburn Invitational
& First Chance Meet , February 9-10, in the diving events. On Friday
she had a personal best of 310.43 in the 3-meter dive, an on Saturday
posted another PB of 254.35 on the tower. She has officially qualified for
NCAA Zones on the 1-m, 3-m springboards & the tower. NCAA Zones
are the first step in qualifying for NCAA Nationals, March 20-23,
Athens, GA.

Luke Elmore, (21) RSS, is a pitcher for Lenoir Rhyne University.
Current record is 7W 1L & Luke has appeared in 2 games.

Grayson Southern, (’21) JR is an middle infielder for Pfeiffer University.
Their season opens on February 17 at Berry College, Mt. Berry, GA.
