The Bishop McGuinnes Villains hosted the Triad School of Math and Science in the 1st round of the NW Piedmont Conference tournament on Monday night. The Villains overcame a slow start with a spark from guard Issac Ross who had 16 points all in the 2nd half. Senior John Campbell poured in 13 points while sophomore Arop Chom added 10 points. Wing Patrick Graves had 7 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
The Villains will move on to the conference semi-finals on Wedneday night at the NC Leadership Academy.
