The Greensboro Grasshoppers were up 1-0 after the third inning, they went up 3-0 after the fourth inning, and they took that 3-0 lead to the 7th inning, the Hoppers were still up 3-2 going to the eighth inning, and they end up losing 4-3 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Friday night, at Bowling Green, Kentucky…

Greensboro now with four straight losses since they began play at Bowling Green, back on Tuesday…The Grasshoppers are having trouble finishing and closing out games…Bullpen thrower Cy Nielson took the loss for the Hoppers on Friday night, and he his record fell to (1-1) on the season…
