Post 87 HiToms to Face Post 81 Davidson County in Area Three Championship Series
High Point/Thomasville – The Post 87 HiToms will take on Post 81 Davidson County in their bid to become North
Carolina Legion Area Three Champions. The Post 87s are fresh off a 3-1 series victory over Mocksville in round
one of the playoffs.
The best-of-five set will begin Tuesday evening at Finch Field, as the visitors take on the Post 87s at 6:00. Game
three will be played on Thursday at 6:00 at Finch Field, and, if necessary, a decisive game five will take place at
5:00 on Sunday at Finch Field.
After finishing runner-up in last year’s Area Three playoffs, the Post 87s are seeking their first title and state playoff
berth since 2020.
