We were there the day that Antwon Stevenson was introduced as the new head coach at Northeast Guilford, and I am thinking that day was back in March of this year, and I know it was on a Monday afternoon…Well, on that Monday afternoon, Coach Stevenson talked to NEG football players, and he told them about the building process of a football team, and how you should always tell everybody who you are when you meet them…Look them in the eye, and tell them who you are said Coach Stevenson….

As the process goes, Coach Stevenson moved on over to Ragsdale High School, where he ended up taking over for Coach Johnny Boykin, who left Ragsdale HS, to go back to his hometown, and coach the Clinton Dark Horses…

So Coach Stevenson ends up at Ragsdale HS, and Northeast Guilford still needs a head coach…On that Monday back in March, Coach Parris Baxter told the NEG Ram football players that his name was Parris Baxter, and he was going to be the Rams’ defensive coordinator…

Now, as it turns out, Parris Baxter is the new head football coach at Northeast Guilford High School…He has been with the Rams since back in March, so he has been on board for the past few months…The kids at NEG know him, and now we will all get to know him better too…

(Previous Northeast Guilford football coach Mark Raynor, is now the defensive coordinator at Southern Guilford High School.)
