Hey, I was thinking Western Guilford was just about ready to write the newest chapter in The Game of the Week, The Game of the Month, and The Game of the Year, and rolling that all up into one game..And they pretty much did just that…
Western Guilford 20, Northeast Guilford 14 and this contest was just 1:06 away from going into Overtime, but the WG Hornets Elijah Hayes, made out like Bullet Bob Hayes, and Elijah was Wildcat Quarterbacking Western, and just took off and flew 17 yards for the go-head game winning touchdown for the WG Hornets…We will have more on this fascinating night of football, at Western Guilford, Home of the Hornets…
WG is back, and the Hornets are (2-0)…Guys like Caleb Moore, Elijah Hayes, and Timothy Baker, are talking to The Maker, and he has given the Black and Gold Hornets, at WG, a total makeover…More will follow….

I got the news on (2-0) Northern Guilford and the Hawks/Nighthawks were victorious in Overtime, 28-27, over the New Bern Bears…Big win for the guys out on Spencer Dixon Road…They are playing in the Unbeaten Mode, and next will they will take on the challenge of the visiting Eastern Alamance Eagles…Jaxson Kemp, Amare Akers, Dwight Hall, Reggie King…Just a few of the NG Nighthawks getting the job done bigtime…
Whirlies Win, Whirlies Win, Whirlies Win again…With the Grimsley Whirlies’ road win, they just knocked off many felt like was the top 4-A Team in the Eastern part of the state…Grimsley 35, Rolesville 20…A two-touchdown win by Greensboro Grimsley…Grimsley is now the team to beat in the 4-A high school football rankings in North Carolina…Grimsley just won by two TDs, over the team that most felt would give the Whirlies the most competition in the regular season..Going to be interesting now, to see which way Grimsley keeps going….

Just a little strange to see Eastern Guilford get laid out by Burlington Williams….34-0 Bulldogs over the Wildcats, this won’t be coming back…Page got off to a very good start with Reidsville, but the Pirates faltered and they ended up losing to The 2-A Champs, 41-21, at the Pirates’ Marion Kirby Stadium….Southwest Guiford falls to WS Reynolds…Still searching for the Glenn at Ragsdale final, and we will be able to retrieve it soon…
