UNCG Men’s Golf Remains Atop the Leaderboard Through Two Rounds at Bryan National

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s golf team remains in first place through two rounds of play at the Bryan National Collegiate on Monday at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.

TEAM

UNCG carded a six-under-par (282) in the second round on Monday for a total score of 15-under-par (561) through two rounds of action.
High Point follows just in behind UNCG with an 11-under-par (565) over two rounds.
Delaware is in third with a five-under-par (571).
All other teams are above-par in the 10-team tournament.

INDIVIDUAL

B.J. Boyce and Kelvin Hernandez stand atop the leaderboard in a tie for first place with each other after shooting a total score of seven-under-par (137) on Sunday and Monday.
Hernandez led the Spartans with a three-under-par (69) on the day, moving up one position from being in second place on Sunday.
Boyce recorded a one-under-par (71) in the second round after notching a six-under-par (66) in Sunday’s round.
Jack Marcotte moved up four positions after posting a three-under-par (69) in round two, standing in a tie for third place.
Senior transfer Colin Dutton moved up nine positions to sit in a tie for 12th place on Monday, shooting a two-under-par (70).
Andrew Graham is in a tie for 16th place with rounds of 71-74.
Liam Percy and Keenan Royalty are both in a tie for 24th place with an overall score of three-over-par (147).
Jake Lewis moved up three spots from Sunday to be in a tie for 30th place after carding a one-over-par (73).
Will Guidry rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans with an overall score of six-over-par (150), in a tie for 44th place.

UP NEXT
UNCG will conclude the Bryan National Collegiate with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start for the third round on Tuesday at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
