+++++++++And Coach Blue, you know this protocol for the inclement weather well…You have been at it a long time…Tell me/us why??? Closed on Tuesday, why not a Two-Hour Delay??? Where would the roads be bad…There can’t be any snow left on the roads…It is all gone….Black/White Ice, or whatever they call it??? Is that the problem???
Where would the roads be bad???? Out towards Northwest Guilford HS on Oak Ridge Road going toward the school??? Southern Guilford HS headed down Drake Road going to the school??? Eastern Guilford HS going off of Highway 70, making that left, and then the right hand turn going to the school??? Northeast Guilford with some back roads in around McLeansville??? Southwest Guilford maybe going down some of the roads around Willard Dairy and Clinard Dairy Road??? Used to be a lot of kids that rode the bus to school, but now I bet there are more parents taking their kids to school, than those that ride the bus…
I live right across the street from General Greene School and I don’t ever even see any buses dropping off kids or picking them up….All I see is parents dropping off and picking up their kids, and the lines are long….The car lines over at Dudley HS in the afternoons to pick up kids from Dudley and from Lincoln Middle School are crazy backed up….
I go to all the schools in the county, and I don’t see why there would have been a problem running school on Tuesday with a Two-Hour Delay….Somebody give me some insight here….
