+++++++++He was one of us you might say…Part of that football brotherhood, and it just about makes you break down and cry to hear of his passing…Terrible news no matter what, but to be gone at such a young age…Just 18 years old….And just last year, in the 2023 Dudley Panthers High School football season, this man was up front with his BIG 6’2/318 pound frame blocking for Dudley QB Andrew Attmore II, as he broke the Guilford County single-season high school passing record, and threw for 4,122 yards and 54 TDs…Jaden Buie was Andrew’s insurance policy, and he protected his quarterback, and brother in football…Buie helped Dudley have Three 1,000 yard receivers and Two 1,000 yards rushers…Dudley had 7,880 yards of Total Offense, and the man that was helping to get it done, was Jaden Buie…So many times those things go unnoticed, but please join me, and let’s don’t forget this young man….

It is always about the numbers, but we need to say a special prayer tonight for the family of #77, the former Dudley Panther football player…This is a big loss to his family, and to his extended family in the Dudley HS Community…No matter how he died, this young is gone, and he is being missed at this moment and we need to carry on his memory…Me and my broadcast travel team were there with Dudley, as they hit the road last season, going to Crest High School, in Boiling Springs, and then on to Hickory High School for the West Regional Championship Game….Jaden Buie was there at those games, and was doing all he could, and he did a super/great job up on that offensive line…This tells the story more too…Jaden Buie tied for the team lead in 2023, with 41 Pancake Blocks for his Dudley Panthers offensive line…The Pancake Block, as most of you know, is when you put your opponent on his back, and flatten him out like a Pancake…Jaden Buie was doing massive work up front for the Dudley Panthers…

His work and efforts are to be commended, and today let’s all keep him and his family in our Thoughts and Prayers…GodSpeed to the family of Jaden Buie, and for Jaden the final horn has sounded, but his memories will live on forever…Again, thoughts and prayers going out to his family, friends, football teammates, his coaches, and his former teachers at Dudley HS…..

  1. RIP #77
Condolences to his family, classmates, teammates and Triad family. This is a community loss for Guilford county, anytime we lose a student/athlete.

  2. Prayers going out to this young man’s family. Outstanding young man and super football player and gone way too soon.
