  1. Page reached out to Grimsley to try and push the game to Thursday. Grimsley refused. Apparently they want more time with their football players. ???

  2. Anonymous as well

Grimsley already beat the conference leader last night to tie for the lead in the conference. Thursday, Friday, or whatever day doesn’t matter.

  3. Well apparently it does because Corbett refuses play on Thursday. Seems to me they are scared after losing to Page in Haeco, even after gaining back the football players.

  4. No good reason not to play tonight

Literally the only game in the county that did not move to Thursday. Is ridiculous. Neither team gains an advantage by moving game to Thursday.
County AD and/or conference commissioner should force the issue.

  5. Anonymous as well

Yeah I see you don’t know the truth. Page barely beat them with their full team while Grimsley had mostly freshmen, sophomores and JV players. They have no reason to be scared. Neither side agreed to play Thursday.

  6. No good reason not to play tonight

Anonymous as well not sure where you are getting your info.
It was Grimsley that refused to play the game Thursday.
Page reached out to Grimsley to suggest it and it was Grimsley that said no.
If anymore winter weather forces more postponements it will create problems for Page and Grimsley basketball teams due to this decision.

  7. Indeed. Coming from sources at Page and even at Grimsley, Grimsley is the one refusing to play. Seems like they are scared. If they really were not scared, why would they refuse to move up the game?

  8. No good reason not to play tonight

Game was scheduled to be played at Page and there is nothing in MaxPreps showing Grimsley with another game scheduled.
Does not to seem to be any valid reason for it other than not wanting to play.
