The Bishop McGuinness Villains traveled to conference rival Winston-Salem Prep on Friday night and brought home a win. The decisive quarter for the Villains turned out to be the 4th where Bishop outscored the Pheonix by 10 to seal the victory.
The Villains were paced by senior guard Nicholas Graves who had 10 points in the opening frame and finished with a balanced performance of 17 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. Junior forward Arop Chom came off the bench to add 12 points and 2 rebounds. Senior Alex Waterfield earned himself a double-double totaling 11 points and 10 rebounds.
