Student/Athletes from Caldwell Academy (2A) participated in
the following events February 3—8, 2025.
Varsity Men’s Basketball , ranked #1 NCISAA 2A,and ranked # 14 in the state, defeated Forsyth Country Day School,
ranked # 3 in NCISAA 4A and & # 10 in the state 76—73.
Senior Jaylen Cross was honored before the game for
having scored over 2,000 points in his career.
Lost to ranked # 2 NCISAA 3A and ranked #8 in state
Greensboro Day 61—54.
Defeated Westchester Country Day School ranked # 14
NCISAA 2A & ranked # 279 in state 70—34.
Regular season completed with overall record of 23W 9L,
and PTAC CHAMPS with a record of record 8W 2L.
State Playoffs start February 11, Caldwell is seeded # 1
with a record of 23W 9L. Has a bye until the quarterfinals
on 2/15/25. Twenty teams competing
Varsity Girls team ranked # 3 NCISAA 2A, an # 226 in the
state lost to Forsyth Country Day School, ranked # 10
NCISAA 4A and # 207 in the state 55-34.
Lost to ranked # 4 NCISAA 3A & #52 in the state
Greensboro Day School 73—32.
Defeated University Christian, # 9 ranked NCISAA 2A &
ranked # 352 in the state, 66-23. Isley Ortmann lead the
scoring with 21 points.
Regular season is completed with a record of 10W 6L
and PTAC record 2W 4L.

with a record of 10W 6l. Has a bye until the quarterfinals
on 2/15/25. Sixteen teams are competing.
