Why is it just a 4 team tourney with this conference? Are any other conferences just doing that?
Look like Dudley being the #1 Boys Seed should get home court, just like Northern Guilford got it in their conference!!!
Not basketball tournament related.
State 3A Indoor Track Championships in Winston-Salem.
Zion Coulson from Northeast Guilford won the 3A Championship in the shot put. His winning toss was 55 feet, 8 and 3/4 inches.
Four team tournament I think because of the weather concerns and the thought that they might not be able to finish the tournament after a big Wednesday snow and ice event next week…The Sectionals are due to start next Monday Feb. 24….State Tournament time….
Also they usually rotate Conference Tournament host site, with one year it going to the #1 boys team, and the next the Tournament goes to the #1 girls team…Smith #1 girls team and it could be their year to host…Could also see both Smith girls and boys in the finals…Dudley boys should be there in the finals, but the Rockingham County girls will be fighting hard for that other girls finals spot…
Just a few hopefully helpful thoughts…
