WS Dash got two walks, Brayden Montgomery and Jackson Appel, in the sixth inning, and with one out, Alex Makarewicz connected on a Two-Run Double, scoring Montgomery and Appel, and the Dash led 2-0…Then Wes Kath smacked a Two-Run Home Run for Winston-Salem, scoring Makarewicz and Kath, and this put the WS Dash in front 4-0…They never had to look back, because the Hoppers could only find three hits on the night…Plus the Dash added one more run in the Top of the Ninth Inning with Cole McConnell walking and then he scored on an RBI single from Branden Montgomery…The Greensboro Grasshoppers starting pithcer Garrett McMillan pitched extremely well, as he went 5 Innings, allowing 0 Runs, on 4 Hits, with 1 BB, and 8 Big Strikeouts…Fine outing by Garrett McMillan, as gets a No Decision, and his record stays at (3-0) on the 2025 season…

Any news why Southern Guilford softball had to forfeit to Dudley..those girls were having a pretty good season.
The way MaxPreps had it posted was really sort of confusing…They had Dudley winning by Forfeit and they also had WS Carver defeating Bethany Community School by forfeit…I wouldn’t be surprised at all, if both Southern Guilford and Bethany Community won the games over Dudley and WS Carver…Dudley and Carver had both been struggling this season…But, I guess you never know…We will know more when the next Round of the Softball Tournaments hit…Will be checking…AD
