QB Johnny Evans, RB Ted Brown and WR Torry Holt???
And two players from the smallest school attendance-wise in Guilford County??? High Point Andrews Red Raiders, with their State Champion QB Johnny Evans, and Champion RB Ted Brown…Both Brown and Evans went on to excel in college at N.C. State, and both also went on to excel in the NFL…Brown with the Minnesota Vikings, and Evans with the Cleveland Browns, in the National Football League…
(Faizon Brandon, from Grimsley HS, may be ready to supplant Johnny Evans, as Brandon already has one NCHSAA State Title to his credit, and his college and pro days are still ahead of him…We will have to keep the door open, and see which way it swings)
We have Torry Holt, from Eastern Guilford HS, as the top receiver to ever come out of Guilford County, and Keenan Allen, from Northern Guilford HS, might be a close second to Holt…Holt also went on to have great success at N.C. State, while Allen was one of the top receivers in the nation, during his college career at California…Holt had what should be an NFL Hall of Fame career with the St. Louis Rams, and he is not in the Hall yet, but he should be someday soon…Keenan Allen has put up huge numbers in the pros so far, with the Chargers, and the Chicago Bears…
Torry Holt’s career receiving yards…13,382 yards
Keenan Allen’s career receiving yards.11,274 yards and Allen is still active with the Bears going into the 2025 NFL season….

Good choices but I like James Summers from Page as the QB, TJ Logan of Northern Guilford as the RB, and Haywood Jeffires from Page as my WR.
Anthony Saunders from Western Guilford and Toney Baker from Ragsdale were pretty good running backs too and what about as receiver, Charlie Sanders from Dudley High School.
