We met with Aaron today/Friday August 1, and we talked out there in the rain, at the Forest Valley Basketball Court…This young man is a basketball World Champion from the NBA, and he represents the Champion Oklahoma City Thunder…He represents them well, I might add…
Aaron attended Grimsley High School and Wesleyan Christian Academy here locally and talks about the Whirlies and the Trojans, and we had a great conversation about the old days there at the now World-Famous Forest Valley Outdoor Basketball Court…Aaron has made this concrete court famous…He carries the memories of this slab with him, everywhere he goes…
Aaron’s dad Tim was with him at Forest Valley, on the outdoor court, his brother Josh and youngest brother Zacch are both alumni of Forest Valley and the outdoor…Plus Charlie Jones, Brian Doss, Andy Pack, Andy Durham, and many others have hit that Forest Outdoor Court, and they hit it hard…

Yes sir, and we got it done right there in his home neighborhood, right there on his home court…To me, I doesn’t get more real than that…We set up the inteview for 7pm Friday night, rain or shine, and we got it done…Aaron’s dad was there, his mom, his assistant coach from the OKC Thunder, his brother Josh was there too…And Aaron’s press man was there…Josh even held an umbrella over me, and got to say thanks again Aaron, Josh, Mr. Wiggins, and entire Wiggins Family for making it happen…
I will be on that same outdoor court on Sunday shooting hoops again…Been there every Sunday, for pretty much the last 45 years…Love the outdoor court, and Aaron Wiggins has made us all ver proud….

That really is a nice pickup truck…Dark black and very smooth looking…Mr. Wiggins and Josh Wiggins, Aaron’s brother are the primary drivers of that truck, and Mr. Wiggins has done a great job raising those three Wiggins brothers, in Aaron, Josh, and Zacch…
If Jim McIntosh remembers Bill Hollifield, I sure Coach Hollifield would have loved to have had a truck like that Wiggins Chevy….
