Northern Guilford could not get in from the SWG eight-yard line with O:00 time left in the game…A penalty on SWG and NG had that last chance to score and the ran it, but could not get in…SWG took the lead with 2:42 left to play in the Fourth Quarter on a 65-yard pass play which was a screen pass to McManus and he took it all the way to The House..22-18 at that point, and NG mounted the late drive, but came up eight yards short of the victory…Big-Time Battle and SWG had not been scored on in 2 years…Northern put up a great effort, but the Southwest Cowboys were there to keep their winning streak going at the end of the game, and SWG keeps it going….Great work turned in by both teams in this battle…

Does Southern Guilford Middle not have a team?
Southern Guilford schedule not available on SG school website…Find them sometimes playing AJ Prep, or Ferndale, but SG’s site does not have their football schedule listed…I go by and look for it every week, but it has not been on there at all in the Fall of 2025, and it is a shame…Would love to get them listed…Many of our Middle Schools are facing the same problem, and it is a real shame…
