EG closes at (2-5) and Kiser closes it out at (1-5-1)…But this game was one for the ages, and all ages, as Eastern Guilford took the Opening Kick and gave up a Pick-Six on their opening possession, and Kiser led early at 6-0 Kiser Tigers…It was a 35-yard Intercetion Return(#12)/Jordan Joyner, and the Two-Point Run by Kiser QB big #21 Adam Rucker was No Good and with 3:41 to go in the First Quarter, your score was Kiser 6, Eastern Guilford 0
Kiser had maybe just four offensive snaps in the First Quarter, and EG had the ball the rest of the Time of Possession…

As the old saying goes, Fourth Quarter, Fourth Quarter, Fourth Quarter….So we have this 14-6 game going on, and the Kiser Tigers say, “Let’s Make this Thing more Interesting”…..We are getting late in the afternoon, when Kiser comes up with a halfback pass and he was probably the Kiser Tigers most effective back in the Second Half, and he/#2/Will Tyndall hits #12/Jordan Joyner for the Halfback Pass Touchdown…The plays covers 19 yards, and #12 was the same Kiser kid(Jordan Joyner) that intercepted the pass and took it back for the Pick Six, back in the First Quarter…Now with this Kiser Tigers TD, this game is getting Real Interesting…The TD comes with 3:26 left to play in the contest, there was a Kiser Fumble on the Two-Point Play attempt, it was No Good, so the ever-so close score is now at:Eastern Guilford 14, Kiser 12
So Eastern Guilford got a drive going after the Kiser Kickoff and Eastern Guilford was in the process of running out the clock, or maybe even coming up with the Icing TD, but with less than a minute to go in the game, Eastern Guilford fumbles the ball back over to Kiser and the Tigers had a chance to get the Game-Winner, with mere seconds left in this ballgame…But, Kiser could not get it rolling and after an Incomplete Pass, and a couple of Sacks of the Kiser QB Rucker, this game was in The Books…Eastern Guilford overcomes that late turnover, and the EG Wildcats hang on and win this key End of the Season, Middle School Football Game…
