Wild game at Mendenhall Middle today….That boys game with NEG-Mendenhall was one for the books, and they will probably be checking the books for a week or more, trying to find a missing Mustang point…Game final for boys was showing, NEG 44, Mend. 43…Then it changed to Mend. 45, NEG 44…But after further review, the NEG 44, Mend. 43 Final stood up…That looked to be the correct final score…But, I would not want to be the one going back checking over those scorebooks, because I don’t think they would both show the same score…The officials called this game very tight/close, so almost every other call was under question, by the fans and coaches…Wild, and I am talking a Wild and Wooly game for the boys today at Mendenhall Middle School….The girls game was set with less drama, but Northeast made the most of their chances, and Mendenhall could not quite keep up with the NEG Rams…First public school Middle School games for us to cover this season, and what a WILD way to get it going…
With NEG girls Coach Johnson and her player Henderson, after NEG 37-27 win over Mendenhall Middle..

Northeast boys coach Julian Jackson with Brycen Foster, and Final was NEG 44, Mendenhall 43…

MEND scoring:Frazier 9, Hagen 5, Lee 5, Parker 5, Martinez 2, Scott 2

NEG-MEND boys game:End of First Quarter:MEND 9, NEG 6…Halftime:MEND 18, NEG 15…End of Third Quarter:NEG 36, MEND 32…Final Score:NEG 44, MEND 43
NEG boys scoring:Brycen Foster 13 points, Griffin 13 points, Spinks 10, Izzy Sirleaf 6, Big Man Jones 4, Tory Williams 2…

Not sure if the books and the score were in sync at any time in the game…Got some of my halftime numbers from the home scorebook….Wild Game at the home of the Mendenhall Mustangs…Like back in the Wild, Wild West…
