Very wild finish to National Football League/NFL regular season, with the final game in Week 18 going down to Final Play of the Game…And as it turned out, it was not one of those Happy Plays of the Game, it was 44-yard Field Goal going wide right off the foot of Tyler Loop, the rookie kicker for the Baltimore Ravens…He missed it, he missed it…
Baltimore misses that climatic game-ending Field Goal and the Pittsburg Steelers win the game, and AFC North Division for 2025…The final score was the Pittsburgh Steelers 26, and the Baltimore Ravens 24…And the score would have been finalized at Pittsburgh 27-24 over Baltimore, but the Steelers kicker, Chris Boswell, the man that never misses his PAT Kicks, well he missed one…
Two crucial kicks go awry, in the last minute of the last game of the NFL regular season…Very compelling to say the least, and that game with Aaron Rodgers quarterbacking the Steelers, and Lamar Jackson leading the Ravens at QB, that game did not have us sitting on the edge of our seats…That game had us standing up, and huddling around the TV…
Man that was one WILD game…The fourth quarter alone, was one of the best of the year…And in the last moments of the contest, it had me keep saying to myself, “They(whoever had the ball) scored too soon/quickly, and they were giving the opposition, and that would be Baltimore on the final series, the team that just scored was giving the other team too much time on the clock to get back in the game”…
Seemed like quite a few games on the last Sunday of the regular season, were going right down to wire…The Eagles-Commanders game was like that, and so was the Chicago Bears-Detroit Lions game…So many close and Playoff-Factoring games here on the last Sunday…
And what about the Atlanta Falcons-New Orleans Saints game??? The Falcons win 19-17 over the Saints, in what was another ever-so-close game, and the Win by the Falcons allows the (8-9) Carolina Panthers to win the NFC South Division, and the Panthers will now host a Round One NFL Playoff Game…Crazy stuff all the way around, and the Falcons defeat New Orleans, and then Atlanta’s coach, Raheem Morris, gets FIRED…Some kind of thanks there from the Falcons’ brass(Arthur Blank), and maybe the Panthers should hire Morris, as an extra coach for the playoffs….
What a Wild final weekend of the 2O25 NFL Regular Season, and look for more wild and crazy games, as we head toward the playoffs that begin this coming Saturday, with the Carolina Panthers at home on Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm, versus the Los Angeles Rams, a team the Panthers beat in the regular season…But can the Panthers stop Matthew Stafford and his LA Ram cohorts for a second time this season???
Here come the playoffs and watch out for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers, as they will have DJ Metcalf back for their Round One meeting with CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans…Gonna be some good games coming our way, so fasten your chinstraps and LET’S GO….
I think the Carolina Panthers will win that first round game against the Rams. I have this funny feeling that the Panthers can do it again. Look out for Coker.

The Carolina Panthers will be a team to look out for in these NFL Playoffs. They beat the Rams once already and they are more than ready to do it again. I have them going at least two rounds in the playoffs. This Panthers team is on the rise. Got to feel like Charlotte is a destination for many top players that will be changing teams in 2026, and why not, cause like I was saying, the Panthers are on the way up, and they are headed to the top over the next five years. It don’t matter how tall Bryce Young is when you have McMillan and Xavier Legette. Legette reminds me of the old Page HS and NC State and Houston Oilers receiver Haywood Jeffires. The Panthers are getting ready to unload, so it might be time for more Panthers fans to get on the bandwagon. Let’s Get It Going This Saturday.
Just an added note for everyone…..The Carolina Panthers usually win when they play their games on FOX TV and our local FOX 8 Station…Last week the Panthers played on ABC 45 and lost, and the week before that they played on WFMY TV 2 and lost…Most of the time they have success playing on Channel 8/WGHP for some reason…Channel 2 calls themselves, “The Official Station of Carolina Panthers Football”, and FOX 8 calls themselves, “The Official Station of Football”….
Not sure how this one will turn out, but the Carolina Panthers are home in the house that Jerry Richardson built, and they are on FOX TV…Game is Saturday afternoon at 4:30…..I feel like we should all just ahead and take the Panthers to win…Pull for the boys, right?????
