Goodman was particularly lethal in the second half, accounting for 13 points and knocking down three triples to put the game out of reach. Grimsley also saw Alyssa Graves score 12 points point, plus guard Shyla Simms chipped in 11 points.
Southwest Guilford Cowboys The Cowboys, who fall to 4-3 in conference play, struggled to find an answer for the Whirlies’ mid-game surge despite a strong individual effort from T’Yauna Freeman. She scored 18 points while McKenzie Moore added 9.
With only seven games remaining in the regular season, Grimsley (14-3) remains undefeated at home (7-0) and continues their mastery over the Cowboys, having defeated them twice in the span of a week.
