Bishop McGuinness Villains claim Fourth Straight Conference Tournament Championship with Chom, Short, Chapman and Chavis leading Bishop Boys Basketball

Bishop McGuinness won their fourth straight conference championship on Friday night, defeating South Stokes 54-51. The Villains were led by Senior Arop Chom’s 13 point and 11 rebound double-double. JJ Short added 13 points, Bryce Chapman had 9 points plus 8 rebounds, and Freshmen Jones Chavis made three crucial three pointers in the 2nd quarter to finish with 9 points.

The Villains will have a first round bye before returning home for the second round of the NCHSAA state playoffs Thursday 2/26/26.
