Ragsdale got a huge boost from freshman starter Isaac McPhatter in this game…McPhatter recently moved up to the Ragsdale varsity team, from the JV team…He moved up, at the end of the Tigers JV season…McPhatter hit 11 free throws for the Tigers in this contest…McPhatter gave Ragsdale a go-to guy, but they couldn’t find him in the late stages of the ballgame…

McPhatter showed no signs of stage fright in this key playoff contest…Ragsdale was soooo close to finishing this game with a “W”, until Bryce McKenzie and Kam Taylor snatched this game from the jaws of defeat for the Dudley Panthers…The steals from McKenzie and Taylor came in the span of about 12 seconds, and when both Taylor and McKenzie scored after their take-aways, Dudley was ready to seize this victory…And they did…

Nyshawn Hughes and several other Panthers, like Vermont Carmack, Darius Barnett, and Christian Daye, were there backing up Dudley in their First Round Playoff Game…Souleymae Sy, AJ Patrick, the Louis duo of Justin and Braylon, plus the young buck Isaac McPhatter were all there working hard for the Ragsdale Tigers, and we see this team getting even better in 2026-2027….McPhatter will be a very solid building block for the future of Ragsdale boys basketball…That’s all, yall…
