HPT HiToms Announce Scholastic All-Star Games
High Point/Thomasville – The High Point Thomasville Hi-Toms announced today the dates for the fifth annual Triad Prep All-Star Baseball game and the fourth annual Triad Prep All-Star softball contest.
The baseball all-star game will once again take place at Historic Finch Field in Thomasville on Saturday, May 23rd and feature 50 of the Piedmont’s top senior prep diamond stars. The softball all-star classic returns to High Point Monday, May 18th as Truist Point plays host to the 32 best high school seniors from Guilford, Randolph, Davidson and Forsyth counties.
“The all-star games have been great additions to our HiToms’ prep sports calendar because of their ability to foster player/coach collegiality and showcase our area’s best, amateur diamond players,” HiToms President Greg Suire said. “The energy, smiles and photos produced at these two events are a testament to the spirit of our local student-athletes and the HiToms are honored to be a part of these memory making moments.”
Chairperson of the softball player selection committee will once again be Oak Grove Head Coach Danielle DiLuzio while veteran Southwest Guilford head coach Reid Holmes will spearhead the baseball selection process.
