(This is our Fred Anderson Toyota of Raleigh Game Report.)

Hoppers' Line-11-12-1
WS Dash' Line- 4- 6-1

Hoppers improve to (28-17), while the Dash fall to (26-19) after the loss to the Grasshoppers, on Sunday night, at First National Bank Field…

The Greensboro Grasshoppers led this game 6-0, before the WS Dash got on the scoreboard, with 4 runs in the Top of the Fifth Inning, and that was all that the Dash would be able to come up with, in this contest…Hoppers add a run in the Bottom of the Fifth, and make it a 7-4 Grasshoppers advantage after Five Full at the FNB Field…After taking that 7-4 lead to the Seventh Inning, Greensboro adds on four(4) more runs in the bottom of the 7th, and that is how we came up with that final score, of 11-4 Hoppers, and on to the Winner’s Circle…

Hoppers Win Again, and a BIG reason that they were able to lock down the Sunday game, was due to the efforts of Yordany De Los Sotos, Jhonny Severino, Wyatt Sanford, and pitcher Bryan Mena…De Los Santos went 2-5/HR/Double/2 Runs/2 SB/4 RBI…Severino goes 3-4/3 Doubles/1 Run/2 RBI…Wyatt Sanford was 3-4/Triple/BB/2 Runs…Hoppers’ starting pitcher, Bryan Mena, worked 5 Innings, allowing 4 Runs, on 6 Hits, with 1 BB/3 Ks/, and gave up Two(2) Dash home runs….But, first win of the season for Mena, and that is a good deal there….
We are shooting our REMAX Revolution Player of the Game honors out to the four fellows, that we featured above…

The top hitter for the WS Dash on Sunday was Kaleb Freeman, who went 3-4 at the plate, and Freeman had the HR and a Double…Also he had the One Run, and One RBI…Big Caleb Bonemer also homered for the Dash, he the “Bonemer Bomb” was a Two-Run Blast/Bomb to left field, and it HR #15 on the season, for Bonemer…The Dash top hitter for Sunday, after Freeman and Bonemer, was Kyle Lodise who was 1-4/Run/RBI, on Sunday, for the WS Dash…

Top Dash pitcher on Sunday was Mathias LaCombe, who went 1 Inning, giving up 0 Runs, on 0 Hits, with 0 BBs/2 Ks…As our broadcast partner Bryant Roche would say, that is a very Small Sample Size, but Lacombe is a Frenchman, and he knows how to Cut the Mustard…The Dash pitcher who was bringing the heat, and the Kitchen Sink, was Pierece George…George was throwing consistantly at 100 mph, and struck out, 4 of the 6 Hoppers that he faced…George was out there on the bump, for 1 1/3 Innings, and he gave up 2 Runs, on 1 Hit, with 1 BB/4 Ks, and he served up the Home Run to, Yordany De Los Santos…

Nothing outstanding, or overly spectacular about this game, but just good old fashioned hard work, and team effort on Sunday by the Greensboro Grasshoppers, as they locked down this win…..The Hoppers got the 3-3 split out of the Dash Series, and now the Hoppers lead the Dash, in the Season Series, 7-5/Seven Games-to-Five…..
