HIGH POINT, NC – The High Point Thomasville HiToms have released the 2026 Triad Kick Off Classic schedule set for Wednesday, August 12 and Friday, August 14, 2026, at the High Point Athletic Complex’s A.J. Simeon Stadium.
Thirteen Triad area high schools will participate in this year’s expanded football showcase, with most programs fielding both varsity and junior varsity squads: High Point Central, Southwest Guilford, East Davidson, Thomasville, Ledford, Bishop McGuinness, Andrews, High Point Christian, Ragsdale, Southeast Guilford, Southern Guilford, Jordan Matthews and Glenn High School. With roughly 1,500 student athletes involved, the HiToms Kick Off Classic remains the Triad’s largest high school football jamboree.
The Classic will be played as doubleheaders on both nights. Action begins at 6:00 PM, with varsity contests at Simeon Stadium and junior varsity matchups at the adjacent Track Complex. Each game will be a fast paced, one hour jamboree featuring many of the region’s top prep football players. This year’s event also introduces a new addition: Cheer Team Exhibition.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Kick Off Classic will feature a Football Skills Challenge, expanding participation beyond traditional positions and adding an extra layer of competition. The 2026 Skills Challenge will include: QB Challenge, Big Guy Sprint and the Field Goal Kicking Challenge, designed to showcase a broad range of athletes. The skills competition highlights kicking, speed, and quarterback precision in a fun, high energy format.
