Three Hopper Homers in the Saturday night win at BG…Tony Blanco Jr. homered Twice and he now has 21 HRs for the season…Shalin Polanco had 1 HR, and it was his 10th homer of the year…With Three Home Runs in the Satuday contest, the Grasshoppers broke the MILB High A Level Record for Most Home Runs by a Team in the season…Hoppers now with 218 Home Runs as a team this season, and that is the Record for Most HRs in a season, by a High A Minor League Baseball Team…Hoppers just passed Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who was at 217…The overall MILB Team Record for Home Runs in a season, is 238, and that record is held by the Texas El Paso team…Hoppers sitting 20 HRs off of the El Paso record…WOW lots of Home Runs, no matter how, or how far you hit them….

So Tony Blanco Jr. with Two hits on the night, including his HRs, plus he scored 2 and drove in 3 Runs…Jhonny Severino went 2-5/Double/Run/RBI…Josh Tate goes 2-4/SB…Camden Janik 2-3/BB/Run…And those were the Hoppers with two hits each, and the team had a total of 12 hits…

Hoppers went up 4-0 after the Top of the Fifth Inning, and the Grasshoppers never trailed in this game…Hoppers’ Wyatt Sanford with his 27th Stolen Base of the season, while Tony Santa Maria went 3-4, and stole Two Bases for the Hot Rods, giving him 49 SBs for 2026….

Greensboro used Four Pitchers in the game, with Jacob Bimbi getting the start and working 4 2/3s Innings, then Carlson Reed took right over for the lefty, Bimbi, and Reed recorded the victory, with 1 1/3 Innings of mound activity…Bimbi and Reed combined to strike out 6, and walk 2 Bowling Green batters…Hoppers also called on Isaias Uribe and Brandon Cain from the bullpen, to finish things up….
