Got in all the teams from Guilford County, that posted numbers, and some teams just are not taking the time to post their stats, but that is that, and no need to go flat, we will just keep putting our hand in the hat, see what we can gat/get…Might be a dog, or a cat, but we will leave it at that stat…Teams not posting, quite coasting, and start posting, before somebody gives you a good old fashioned roasting…No toasting or extra boasting, we got the mosting, and are the ones a hosting/hoisting…
And before we go, and don’t you know, we have to go get ready and watch some pro, as they throw it toward Mexico, and beyond…
But, let’s hit a running back for you from last week’s games, and as George Michael used to say on the old George Michael’s Sports Machine Show, “let’s take you live to Thomasville, home of the Bulldogs”, and “the ‘Dogs are biting and fighting hard again”…New head coach Garrett Mills, has his boys/men at (5-1) and they just knocked the pants off of the Ledford Panthers last week, 51-6…Coach Mills was an assistant coach at Page, assistant coach at Thomasville, head coach at Walkertown, head coach at Southern Guilford, and now he is the head coach/Dog at Thomasville High School…
Last week, Thomasville RB Cordell Moon, ran for 292 yards on 13 carries, and he scored Five(5) Touchdowns…Not a Guilford County kid, but what he did, deserves some mention…Cordell Moon is not Cordell Walker(Chuck Norris) yet, but some say Moon, has been working hard since back in June, and pretty soon, Moon is going lead his platoon, down the field like a wild racoon, playing a Bassoon, and he might even strike up a chord or two, for Daniel Boone, and his troops, who are dune/Due to march back/travel through our region sometime soon, in a hot air balloon…..
Here are those numbers one more time for who might sleep till NOON…
Thomasville RB Cordell Moon, ran for 292 yards on 13 carries, and he scored Five(5) Touchdowns….
That’s our Stats and Numbers Shakedown Cruise for this week, and be sure to tell Tom, and the GridIron Gang, to meet us here, again next week………
