We have a fantastic event planned in a beautiful town! Camping is not typically allowed in these amazing settings, so come take advantage of unprecedented lakeside camping!

Join us for indoor camping in one of the rooms used for filming scenes from the popular film, “Dirty Dancing”!

We have so much going on, you don’t even need to ride to have a great time! Here are some fantastic ways to enjoy the weekend, on and off the bike:

Come lay by the beach and cool off in the lake!

Enjoy the Mountain Ride social events – see below!
Explore the spectacular views at the top of Chimney Rock or enjoy hiking through the state park!
Cruise on an 11 mile route on Saturday and explore the other side of the lake with a 6 mile route on Sunday!
Route options of 11, 21, 48 and 63 miles offered on Saturday and 6, 21, 38 and 56 miles offered on Sunday. And don’t forget about the 17 mile warm up ride on Friday!
Immerse yourself in the fantastic rest stops at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure, Parker-Binns Vineyard, The Emerald Woods and the Centennial Block Party in Spindale!

Mountain Ride Social Events

Friday, August 4th

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Welcome Luau

The band Adam Shakes will be performing! The Luau will include free beer from New Belgium Brewing Company and hors d’ouevres such as luau pork (shredded smoke roasted), Hawaiian slaw (pineapple infused cabbage slaw), fresh cut fruit bowl, bottled water and sodas. And no luau would be complete without pineapple and cherry cobbler for dessert! Come gather around the bonfire and enjoy the first night of the Mountain Ride!

Saturday, August 5th

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Social and Low Country Boil

Johnny Blackwell will be rocking the beach during this event! The low country boil menu features peel & eat shrimp, red potatoes, corn on the cob, andouille sausage, onions, herbs and spices. Plus, banana pudding for dessert! Free beer will be provided by New Belgium Brewing Company.
