Friday Night Football Finish with Grimsley vs. Northern and Dudley vs. Eastern Guilford looking very BIG for next week

Grimsley, Northern Guilford, Dudley, and Eastern Guilford all BIG winners on Friday Night, as we look at the Football Finish, and next week you have Northern Guilford(9-0/6-0) at Grimsley(9-0/6-0) for the Metro 4-A Conference Championship, plus we have Eastern Guilford(6-3/6-0) at Dudley(9-0/6-0) for the Mid-State 3-A Conference Championship…Those look like some very important high school football games, and you will be able to catch both of those game on GreensboroSports Radio…

All of the above four teams rolled to victories on Friday, and in a game that was close for the entire contest, we saw Northwest Guilford hang on to defeat Southeast Guilford 21-14…Northwest had very strong ground/attack and we had NWG RB Nathan Cox with 122 yards rushing with 2 TD runs…We also had McKinnly Vance with 35 yards rushing…NWG QB Anders Mitchell going for 22 rushing yards…Also 63 yards passing for Mitchell…

Southeast Guilford going with Ian McKinnon for 79 yards rushing and 2 TDs on the ground…QB Alexander Marsh ran for 53 yards, Caleb Jackson goes for 45 yards, and Terqi McLaughlin ran for 35 yards…Plenty of running yards for both of these two teams…Marsh with 70 yards passing, while Mitchell threw for 63 yards for the ball game…

Again lots of running in this football game, and the run of the game was not a run from scrimmage, it was Rakem Hammock taking the opening kickoff of the second half back 90 yards for the NWG TD…That kickoff return for the touchdown, was our Play of the Game….Great sideline rum from Hammock…Our Player of the Game was Nathan Cox, from Northwest Guilford….Two TDs rushing and 122 yards on the ground for Cox…
