Men’s Golf Wraps Up Day Two of Blessings Collegiate Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s golf team wrapped up day two of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

TEAM

UNCG sits in 10th place on the leaderboard through two rounds of the three round tournament.
The Spartans have notched rounds of 303-314 with a current score of 41-over-par (617).
Host school Arkansas is in first place with a six-over-par (582) in the first two rounds.
The Spartans have recorded 24 birdies and 93 pars on Monday and Tuesday.
UNCG is in sixth place in the field with a 5.15 average on par five holes.
INDIVIDUAL

Kelvin Hernandez is pacing the Spartans to stand in a tie for 22nd place with a seven-over-par (151) with rounds of 74-77.
Will Guidry and Jake Lewis are both tied for 33rd place with an 11-over-par (155).
Lewis posted a nine-over-par (81) on Monday and returned to the course on Tuesday to shoot a two-over-par (74), moving up 10 positions.
B.J. Boyce is in 42nd place with a 13-over-par (157). He is tied for third in the field with a 2.88 average on par three holes.
Liam Percy rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans to sit tied for 52nd place with a 20-over-par (164).
Simon Kwon of BYU and Warren Thomis of Louisville are sitting atop the 55-player leaderboard with an even-par score (144) after the first two rounds.

UP NEXT
The Spartans will conclude the Blessings Collegiate Invitational with the third and final round on Wednesday at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
