A huge thank you to the Town of Oriental and the many volunteers for welcoming us and helping to make the weekend such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!

Mountains to Coast Ride
Featured Rest Stops – Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse

You won’t want to miss these two rest stops on the final day of the 2026 Mountains to Coast Ride! First, check out the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, where the first powered flights changed history.

Then, head south to the Bodie Island Lighthouse, one of the most iconic landmarks on the Outer Banks. The lighthouse has guided mariners along the coast since 1872 and is the perfect place to recharge before heading to the End of Ride Party at the finish line!

Join us October 4-10, 2026 as we ride from Mount Airy to Hatteras Island. We’re riding the Outer Banks for the first time in 12 years – you won’t want to miss it!
