Suire Named to the NCLCA Women’s Lacrosse All-State First Team
The North Carolina Coaches Association announced the 2026 All-Classification All-State squad today and Bishop McGuinness’ Mary Kennedy Suire was named to the first team.
A freshman from Greensboro’s St. Pius X, Suire amassed 139 points on the season scoring 104 goals with 39 assists. The goals total placed Suire in the state’s top 10 in goals scored. The midfielder also performed on the draw circle registering 70 draw controls. Leading the Villains to the state semifinals before falling 12-9 to eventual state champion Charlotte Catholic, Suire averaged 4.2 goals and 1.6 assists a game in her inaugural campaign.
