Cancer got him, but before it could, Harmon “Killer” Killebrew hit 573 career home runs and his image inspired the logo for Major League Baseball, just like Jerry West did for the NBA, and the man that could hit the “tape measure” homers is gone, but his memory, 1936-2011, will be long remembered and never forgotten…..
