    HIGH POINT-THOMASVILLE, N.C. – High Point-Thomasville halted a three-game skid with an 8-5 victory over Martinsville late Sunday night at Historic Finch Field. HPT had to draw up the likes of a comeback yet again as Martinsville sprinted out to 4-0 lead after their first at-bat. A comeback in the making did not take the HiToms long.     HiToms Muzzle Muddogs 8-3

    HIGH POINT-THOMASVILLE, N.C. – HiToms manage to muzzle the Muddogs 8-3 late Tuesday night at Historic Finch Field and thus improve to 12-2. The Muddogs barked loud early with two home runs off of starting HiTom pitcher Luke Davis (App State). However, Davis settled in to tie a team game-high of nine strikeouts for the 2020 season.     HIGH POINT-THOMASVILLE, N.C. – HiToms suffer first home defeat by the hands of CPL foe Wilson, 2-1, late Friday night at Historic Finch Field.     MARTINSVILLE, Va. – HiToms clinch opening CPL series with a 12-1 rout of Martinsville late Friday night at Hooker Field. HPT jumped out early by scoring at least one run in the first five frames and never looked back. After 4.5 complete innings, the HiToms possessed a commanding 8-0 lead.
