Jake Smith, as the head baseball coach for the Randleman Tigers, just led his team to their second consecutive NCHSAA 2-A Baseball State Title….Not bad for the young man who used to play baseball on the diamond…

from Twitter: It’s official: Shane Handy is the fifth Clayton head football coach since 1959. He inherits a team that finished 6-6 last season and made a 3AA playoff appearance. Shane Handy’s Randleman Tigers team was (13-1) in 2019, and they made it to the Fourth Round of the NCHSAA football playoffs…Handy and his Tigers lost to the Salisbury Hornets, 14-7, in Round Four… Shane Handy is a Guilford College graduate….
